Alameda Poet-Teacher Milani Pelley Receives Grant & Fellowship to Serve Berkeley Schools

Milani Pelley recently was awarded the 2023 Bridge AOR Community Foundation grant to bring the literary arts to Longfellow Middle School in Berkeley, Ca. Milani was also recently awarded the 2023-2024 Black Parent Innovation Fellowship, to facilitate Black Parent Writing circles for Berkeley Unified School District’s Black parents and caregivers.
